TAFE - Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited, is an Indian tractor manufacturer established in 1960 in Chennai, India, with an annual turnover in excess of $1.6 billion. One of the largest tractor manufacturers in the world and the second largest in India in terms of volume, TAFE sells more than 180,000 tractors a year. TAFE has earned the trust of its customers with a range of products that are widely appreciated for their quality and low running costs. A strong distribution network of over 1,600 dealers effectively supports TAFE's four iconic tractor brands - Massey Ferguson, TAFE, Eicher Tractors and IMT. In 2018, TAFE acquired the Serbian tractor and agricultural equipment brand IMT - Industrija Mašina i Traktora. TAFE exports tractors to more than 80 countries, supplying farms in Asia, Africa, Europe, America and Russia.
In addition to tractors, TAFE and its subsidiaries have diversified business interests in areas such as agricultural machinery, diesel engines and generators, agro-industrial engines, engineering plastics, gears and transmission components, hydraulic pumps and cylinders, franchise vehicles and plantations.
